Many districts in Tamil Nadu were impacted by the Gaja cyclone in 2018. The regions of Nagapattinam and Thanjavur were the worst affected. With the assistance of Mr. Anand from Avarikadu, the Sathya Unar Charitable Trust provided aid to those in need in Avarikadu and Vandal villages. The Sathya Unar Charitable Trust assisted in rebuilding the school’s damaged roof in Avarikadu and also helped the students in pursuing higher education.
